As universities and institution in Paris begin to grow beyond their physical boundaries, this new campus will allow such growth to take place in a manner that will lead to the interdisciplinary spread of knowledge. This proposal aims at developing the current Palaiseau Campus of the École Polytechnique into a campus ready for growth and prepared to form common spaces that unify the site. The separate universities and institutions each maintain their own identities but are a part of a larger system. This project also focuses on a campus center which contains large gathering spaces for the different institutions to share as well as a common meeting point.
